Dry skin

Dry skin refers to a type of skin that produces less sebum because the sebaceous glands do not function properly. It is said that if the amount of blood secretion is low, the protective film on the face cannot be properly formed, and since the protective film does not do its job, it cannot prevent moisture evaporation. This type of skin is dry and feels tight, and the elasticity of the skin is quickly lost, making it easy to form fine wrinkles.

If you want to check if your skin is dry, wait 3 hours without applying anything after washing your face. Then, press the skin with oil blotting paper. If oil does not come out at this time, you can think of it as dry skin.

How to care for each type of dry skin

Moisture dry skin / Dehydration skin

This is a condition of decreased sweat gland function or insufficient moisture in the skin. The pores in the T-zone area appear slightly larger and can easily become sensitive and cause premature aging. Focus on moisturizing and finish with a product that contains a little oil to prevent moisture evaporation. Both the outside and inside of your skin are dry, so take regular care and drink a lot of water. When circulation decreases, the stratum corneum thickens, so periodic removal of dead skin cells is necessary, and circulation is promoted with packs and masks.

Oily dry skin

The skin texture is delicate, pores are small, tightness is severe, and there are many fine wrinkles, which are signs of premature aging. Regular management activates the function of the sebaceous glands and increases sebum secretion. Use a cream containing vegetable oil.

Alipic skin

It is caused by decreased function of sweat and sebaceous glands, and pores are so small that they are barely noticeable. Since the secretion of sebum through pores is low, sebum formation is low, and moisture evaporation from the skin cannot be prevented, so it always feels tight, and in severe cases, itching and fine wrinkles are formed. Exfoliation of dead skin cells is visible, and the aging process is rapid. Take care to supply moisture and oil to the skin at the same time. Frequently apply packs and masks focusing on moisturizing and nutrition. Maintain appropriate indoor humidity and avoid staying in dry air for long periods of time.
